Genticorum: Canadian Folk Music Award 2005: "Best Ensemble" plus Felix and Juno nominations, launch their new release: La Bibournoise Genticorum is an energetic and original Québécois traditional music trio. Well rooted in the music of their native province, the band also incorporates the dynamism of today's North American and European folk harmony. Composed of Alexandre de Grosbois-Garand, Yann Falquet and Pascal Gemme, the trio produces a tapestry of musical textures giving them a distinctive sound. Since their debut in 2000, Genticorum has forged a solid place for itself on the folk circuit, in concert halls and at dances throughout North America, Europe and beyond. They have toured widely in Estonia, Scotland, Scandinavia, Italy and even Mexico for the first time. Just back from an Australian tour to launch this fabulous third album
