Singer, songwriter and folk legend. Penny Lang: A veritable Canadian folk legend, Penny is as real as it gets, whether in a duo with Dave Clarke or backed by a handful of handpicked musician-friends (such as the Echo Hunters, Jim Condie or Ken Whiteley). In her once-of-a-kind, earthy voice, she brings us old ballads, melancholy blues and hopeful love songs, both traditional and original. She has a way of making any song undisputedly hers; all she has to do is to sing it! Penny has eight critically acclaimed recordings to her credit, and a JUNO-nominated retrospective CD called "Gather Honey".
